Vijay's upcoming film with director Lokesh of Maangaram/Kaithi fame has been tentatively titled 'Thalapathy 64'. The team had recently completed their Delhi Schedule. The latest update is that Kaithi fame Arjun Das replaced actor Antony Varghese in Thalapathy 64. It is said that the actor has been replaced due to date issues.

Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by Xavier Britto of XB Film Creators, The film has music by Anirudh and is aiming for a release in summer 2020.
