While Vijay’s Bigil has already created an irresistible fever for its next week release, the shooting of actor’s forthcoming film is proceeding at brisk pace. Tentatively titled as Thalapathy 64, the first leg of shoot commenced in North Chennai, where a song was filmed on Vijay and bunch of junior artistes and dancers. With some talkie portions being shot, the crew is expected to reach New Delhi for a 20-day schedule, where some important scenes will be shot.

It is not yet known whether Vijay Sethupathi will be joining this schedule or the other after that. It is noteworthy that December schedule is reported of having all the major actors in the project coming together. Bankrolled by Xavier Britto, the film is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj (Kaithi, Maanagaram fame) with Malavika Mohanan playing the female lead. With Anirudh composing music, the film is scheduled for worldwide release in summer 2020.
