AK 60 began with an official pooja ceremony today and its title has been revealed to be Valimai. Nirav Shah and composer Yuvan Shankar Raja have been confirmed to be brought on board this H. Vinoth directorial.

If one may recall, we had reported a while ago that the makers of Thala 60/AK 60 have locked the title for the project, though it is yet to be revealed. In recent times, rumours surrounding this said title has been growing and titles from Thookal to Valaimai to Target among others have been suggested as the one for the movie. 

While Thookal was quickly dismissed by some in the industry, Valimai is said to be the result of Ajith's love for the letter 'V' for his film titles [Four of his last six movies' titles begin with the same letter]. It was also said that Valimai was already registered by another producer who happily gave it up for Ajith. 

Besides this, there were also suggestions that Thala 60/AK 60's title was in lieu with Ajith's rekindered love for rifle shooting, which explains the title Target. With fans eagerly waiting for Ajith's 60th film to go on floors, the title rumours are keeping them occupied; however, only an official confirmation can tell which of these actually belong to the film or if they belong at all.
