With the ongoing curiosities about Superstar Rajinikanth's next film with director Siva getting bigger, it is stated by industry sources that D Imman will be composing the music for this film. Touted to be an out-and-out commercial entertainer, the film is set against a rural backdrop, something which Rajinikanth hadn't attempted in recent years. 

Siva and D Imman are set to collaborate again for the second time after Viswasam. Since Imman has delivered numerous chartbuster soundtracks for films set against a village backdrop, looks like Siva has roped in Imman again for his upcoming rural entertainer as well.  

The film is likely to be bankrolled by Sun Pictures, who produced Rajinikanth’s 'Petta'. The untitled project is expected to go on floors either by end of November or on Superstar Rajinikanth's birthday (December 12). An official announcement on the film is expected to be made very soon. 

Meanwhile, Rajinikanth has completed work on Darbar directed by A.R. Murugadoss with some patch work left. Darbar is set to hit the screens for Pongal 2020.
