Thalaivaa races ahead of "Thala 53" to reach 2 Million

Thalaivaa trailer views sneaked up and raced ahead of Ajith-Vishnu movie trailer, in terms of YouTube views. Recently, YouTube views have become a yard-stick for producers and music labels to serve as a measure for successful reach of movie trailers and songs. 

Thalaivaa - Time to Lead!

Thalaivaa trailer released on June 21st reached 1 Million views during the first 24 to 48 hours after launch. It took just another 10 days to reach the 2 Million mark. Thalaivaa trailer is also on track to set the record by exceeding Thupakki's trailer view counts later this week.

Ajith and Vishnu's "Thala 53" trailer was released on April 30th saw meteoric rise and has been inching closer to 2 Million views. In the past, Ajith's trailers such as "Mankatha" and "Billa 2" had been monster success stories primarily due to Ajith's towering presence. It appears that the lack of title for Ajith's 53rd movie may have impacted the ability to reach the 2 Million faster and may fail to break Billa2's earlier trailer views of roughly 2.8 Million.
