Lyca Productions has now made an official announcement that Kaappaan will be hitting screens on September 20. Movie Crow had recently reported the release might get pushed few days from the already affirmed date, which is August 30 due to some delayed post-production works and now our information gets substantialized. 

Written and directed by KV Anand, the film stars South India’s most prominent actors like Suriya, Mohanlal, Arya, Sayyeshaa and Boman Hirani in lead roles with Harris Jayaraj composing music.
