Kodambakkam Insider Report - Yohan Adhyayam Ondru

The topic that is heavily discussed in Kodambakkam circles is that the story and climax of Gautham and Vijay's Yohan Adhyayam Ondru and Vikram and Director Vijay's yet-to-be-titled movie are very similar in nature. Both the movies are expected to be first of its kind genre for Tamil viewers -- International crime action drama packed with loads of style.

The news got out through a common source who had heard the story narration for both the movies and informed respective parties of the similarities. Both the script writing teams went on a tailspin as they both started making modifications to their scripts. Recently, the makers of Vikram's movie quickly sent out a clear signal saying that the script is now "locked" and the team will start shooting in December 2011. This puts additional pressure on Yohan team since Gautham Menon is expected to begin this project only after completing the Neethane En Pon vasantham and the Vinnaithaandi Varuvaya's Hindi remake.

Insiders are struck by this strange coincidence and wondering what are the odds that two individual creative geniuses coming up with similar scripts in their minds. Hopefully, they both don't end up arriving at the same point again after making all the changes.
