Atlee directed sports-based film which has Vijay playing the lead is expected to have a first look release on the actor's birthday i.e. June 22, 2019 and at this time, composer of the film A.R. Rahman has updated on the music work being done for it.

Rahman tweeted that he and the director are working on the edit of two of the songs from the film and also shared a picture of Atlee from the session.

Touted to be a film on Tamil Nadu Women's football team, Thalapathy 63 will see Vijay play a football coach and a possible dual role. The film is produced by AGS Entertainment and scheduled for a Diwali, 2019 release.
