The makers of Neeya 2 have released a trailer for the film. Directed by L. Suresh of Eththan fame, the movie stars Jai, Catherine Tresa, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Raai Laxmi in the lead roles and is a  romantic thriller based on shape shifting snakes.

Neeya 2 is a sequel to Kamal Haasan-Sripriya starrer Neeya (1979) and is produced by Jumbo Cinemas A Sridhar. The film has Shabir scoring the music with Rajavel Mohan handling the camera.
