If you've followed the Mumbai Police's account on twitter, you would know how popular they are with the Indian twitterati for their quick responses, prompt actions and their sense of humor. So in a very 'Mumbai Police' style, earlier today they 'schooled' actors Sonam Kapoor and Dulquer Salmaan after the former shared a video of Dulquer checking his phone while in the driving seat of a car.
Now, not knowing that the video was a part of a shoot process that was taking place and despite Sonam clarifying it for them, the Mumbai Police's handle immediately policed the actors' duo and even called Dulquer a 'weirdo' (repeating the same word Sonam uses in jest in the video).
We agree with you @sonamakapoor ! Quite a ‘weirdo’ to try such stunts while driving and putting the lives of fellow drivers at risk too! We don’t quite approve of these even in ‘reel’ life. #NotDone pic.twitter.com/WWoDz16hKj

For us, No Mumbaikar is ‘regular’ they are all ‘special’! And we are equally concerned about them all. Glad to know your safety wasn’t ‘rigged’. @sonamakapoor https://t.co/PyYbB23OZs

However Dulquer took no time in hitting them back with the facts and twetted video proofs, thus putting an end to the dust-up that took place.

We appreciate that you weren’t indulging in any irresponsible violation. A good example for all your fans @dulQuer https://t.co/7nmjHYZGeu
