Mahat Ragavendra one of the contestants of Bigg Boss Tamil 2 has bagged his first project after the show. Mahat will be seen in a pivotal role in Simbu's upcoming film with director Sundar C. The film which is a remake of Pawan Kalyan's Telugu blockbuster film Attarintiki Daredi. Mahat posted a tweet and shared a picture from the film sets on his Twitter page.

Mahat is teaming up with STR for the second time after Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavan. He also shared the screen space with Ajith in Mankatha and Vijay in Jilla. Apart from Mahat, comedy actor Yogi Babu will provide the comic relief. The film shooting is progressing at a brisk pace and is expected to hit the screens in January 2019. Megha Akash and Catherine Tresa play the female leads in this movie bankrolled by Lyca Productions.
