Online Booking for Kamal Haasan's Vishwaroopam 2 yet to open in TN Multiplexes

 

// Update: Online Bookings for Vishwaroopam 2 in Multiplexes of Tamil Nadu are now open and the Madras High Court has refused to stay the release of the Kamal Haasan starrer.

The buzz surrounding the release of Kamal Haasan starrer Vishwaroopam 2 was clarified by Raaj Kamal Films International when they said that the film is releasing in both Tamil and Hindi as planned on August 10, 2018. However, with hardly a day left to spare before the film's release, the advance bookings for the movie remain unopened in major multiplexes like SPI Cinemas, Mayajaal, etc which is unusual for a film of an A-list actor. This is believed to be due to the ongoing High court case between Pyramid Samira Productions and Kamal Haasan with respect to the movie Marma Yogi and a pending due of Rs. 7.75 crore. And while the online tickets for these multiplex theatres are expected to sell once the legal obligations are cleared, the single screens on the other hand have taken full advantage of the situation and are seeing an over-flow of bookings throughout the state. Talks of a 5 AM show are also doing the rounds, but the slot is yet to show up in theatre ticket bookings. 

Vishwaroopam 2 directed by Kamal Haasan, will have a press show release later this evening at Mumbai and will premiere in the US on August 9, 2018 (local time).
