After the blockbuster success of Mersal, there has been a lot of speculations regarding the next film of Atlee. Atlee has delivered three hit films ‘Raja Rani’, ‘Theri’ and ‘Mersal’. While his fourth project was expected to be with a leading hero from Kollywood, the director is in a fix over choosing between a Tamil or Telugu film for his next.

Plan A - Telugu film with Top Hero

Theri director might soon make his directorial debut in Tollywood. Atlee is currently in talks with a leading hero of Tollywood for his next project. Sources in the know have said that some Top Telugu heroes whom he had approached earlier couldn't allot dates for his film as they were held up with other project commitments. If the actor currently in discussion for the project gives a green signal, then the project may materialise and Atlee will be directing a Telugu film next.

Plan B - Tamil film with newcomers for a top production house

In case, the Telugu project doesn't materialise, Atlee will be doing a Tamil film for a top production house. The director plans to rope in newcomers in the lead roles. However we need to wait for sometime for an official confirmation from the director regarding his next project.
