Insider's Report: Director Vetrimaaran to do a film with Vijay?

 

As pleasantly surprising as our title may be, it has indeed come to our ears that there is a possibility of actor Vijay collaborating with the National award winning director Vetrimaaran. A little birdie from the Kollywood grapevine informs MovieCrow that Vetrimaaran, who is currently awaiting the release of Vada Chennai, has narrated a script to actor Vijay. However, it is not known if both the parties involved have decided on their next course of action.
 
The contention for Vijay's 63rd film was a talking point even before the actor had begun his current film with A.R. Murugadoss and this latest development has only adds Vetrimaaran's name to the list of directors (H. Vinoth, Mohan Raja, Atlee), already speculated to be directing Vijay's next. It is worth mentioning here that industry talks also suggest that Vijay's next film will most likely be with one of these three banners - AGS Entertainment, Sivaji Productions and Super Good Films.
 
The prospect of Vijay's film aside, we wonder if this Vetrimaaran-Vijay team-up materializes, what will be the fate of remaining two parts of the Vada Chennai trilogy, given that only one part has been filmed in the last 3 years.
