The telugu dubbing rights for Suriya's Maatraan & Karthi's Sakuni has been sold to a record price to Multi Dimensional films which is owned by Bellamkonda Suresh who has earlier bought the rights for Ajith's blockbuster Mankatha & Raghava lawrence's Kanchana. Both Sakuni & Maatraan are slated to release next year for Pongal & Summer season.

It is well known that both the brothers have a well established market & target audiences  all over Andhra Pradesh. Karthi has given hatrick hits last year & this year which include movies like Yuganikki Okkadu , Awara , Naa Peru Shiva.

Another added advantage Karthi has over Suriya is that he can fluently speak the Telugu language fluently. Suriya's last major super hit was Yamudu which was the dubbed version of his Blockbuster Singam.
