Is Tamizh Padam 2.0 a spoof on Tamil cop films?

The first look title poster of Tamizh Padam 2.0 was revealed by actor Siddharth earlier today. While the poster's tongue-in-cheek mention of 'Tamilrockers' as the official piracy partner received a good response from the movie buffs, the tagline on the poster (Police Athiyayam) also hinted that the movie might by a spoof on cop films, a genre that's beaten to death in the Tamil industry.

We can expect director CS Amudhan to put his wit to full use in Tamizh Padam 2.0 and make us LOL over the exact scenes which we once watched in awe. While Shiva and Disha Pandey are retained from the prequel, Aishwarya Menon has been brought on board for the second part. Sathish also plays an important role.
