Badhaai Ho : Dangal fame Sanya Malhotra to star opposite Ayushmann Khurana

If reports are anything to go by, then Dangal girl Sanya Malhotra who famously portayed the role of the grown-up Babita Phogat and Aamir Khan's second daughter in the film, has signed her first film as a lead in Hindi. She will be starring opposite singer-actor Ayushmann Khurana in an upcoming film titled Badhai Ho. Just like Ayushmann's earlier films, Badhai Ho too will be a coming-of-age story of a family that grapples with unexpected news.

The film will be directed by Tevar director Amit Sharma and is expected to begin shooting by January, 2018. The movie will be bankrolled by Junglee Pictures in association with Sharma's Chrome Pictures.
