DNA is happening again : Dhanush, Anirudh to collaborate soon


At the beginning of this year, composer Anirudh had acknowledged the fact of him taking a break from any sort of Dhanush collaborations, and has stated that the DNA (Dhanush N Anirudh) team up would return post a break of 4-5 films. Now, in a recent interview Anirudh has confirmed that he will indeed be teaming up with his Kolaveri Di partner Dhanush with whom he has worked in 7 films (3, Ethir Neechal, VIP, Kaaki Sattai, Maari, Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, Thanga Magan).  

While “Yes, we're planning to come up with a single next year” is what Anirudh is quoted to have said, it is still not clear whether it will be for a song from a movie or an indivial album or an individual song in itself. Nevertheless, the announcement has come as a reassurance to all the DNA fans out there, who to an extent were hopeful of the combo returning with Maari 2, before the film's team eventually broke that Yuvan has been finalized.
