Kaala - Huma Qureshi begins shooting

As reported earlier, the team of Rajinikanth starrer Kaala began shooting yesterday at EVP, Chennai where a replica of the Dharavi slum that has been erected at a budget of Rs. 5 crore. Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi who was among the earlier casts of this upcoming film has flown down to the city for shooting her portions. An image of the actress from her caravan at the shooting spot has been doing the rounds on the internet, since morning. Apparently the bollywood actress will be shooting in Chennai for the rest of July and the entire month of August. We also hear that Rajinikanth too will be part of this schedule.
Directed by Pa. Ranjith, Kaala - Karikaalan completed 10 percent of shooting at Mumbai, until the weather of the city played spoilsport and the team shifted to Chennai. Also featuring Samuthirakani, Anjali Patil, Eswari Rao, Vathikuchi Dileepan, Nana Patekar among others, the movie is produced by Wunderbar films and has Santosh Narayanan for the music.
