Vijay 62 - Sonakshi Sinha to play female lead

While actor Vijay is shooting for his 61st movie with Atlee and A.R. Murugadoss is busy with his bi-lingual Sambhavami, developments about the actor-director duo's next project together has surfaced.

The project which will be Vijay's 62nd film and bankrolled by Lyca Productions, is likely to have Sonakshi Sinha play female lead. When quizzed about the same in a recent interview to TOI, the Bollywood actress was quoted as saying,

"I am always grateful to Murugadoss sir for making me a hero in Akira. He portrayed me in a way which audience had never seen. If he would like to approach me, I would definitely consider it. I have done two films with him -Holiday and Akira -and he's a fantastic director. If he would ever want me to work with him again, I would be more than happy to do it.

Also, Vijay is a fine actor. I have seen Thuppaki and Kaththi -so, why not?"

Sinha made her Kollywood debut in 2014, opposite Rajinikanth in Lingaa. The leading lady is currently shooting for Sunhil Sippy's Noor in hindi.
