Director P. Vasu's tamil remake of his Kannada directorial Shivalinga (also titled the same in Tamil) has released the title design of the movie. Starring Raghava Lawrence and Ritika Singh in the lead, the movie has been in the news for its introduction song which features Lawrence with several of physically challenged students from his trust. 

The music of Shivalinga has been composed by S. Thaman with production being taken care of by Trident Arts. P. Vasu's son Shakthi will be seen in an important role in the film which aslo has Vadivelu, Radha Ravi, Bhanupriya, Urvashi and Madhuvanti Arun. The movie is expected to release on Republic day i.e. January 26, 2017.
