Actress Tamannah confirms starring in the remake of Hindi blockbuster Queen

Actress Tamannah, who is riding high in Kollywood with the sucess of Dharmadurai and Devi has confirmed in a recent interview that she has signed to play the leading role in the official remake of Queen. The woman-centric movie was a huge blockbuster in Bollywood had gained critical and commercial recognition for the original lead Kangana Ranaut. Tamannah would be seen reprising Kangana's role in the Tamil version which is to be directed by yesteryear actress turned director Revathi. Reportedly, actress Suhasini (wife of Mani Ratnam) has been roped in to pen the movie's dialogues according to the Tamil audience's taste.

Originally directed by Vikas Bahl, Queen is about an under-confident family girl who embarks on her honeymoon all by herself after her fiancee calls off their wedding.
