After becoming a worldwide sensation via cricket, MS Dhoni has now started making inroads in the Indian movie industry with the biopic on him, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, taking the box office by storm. Directed by Neeraj Pandey and Sushant Singh Rajput reprising Dhoni, the film released in Tamil across 205 screens and in Hindi across 27 screens in the state.

MS Dhoni: The Untold Story had grossed Rs 7 Crore from the opening weekend in Tamil Nadu, which is a great feat for a non-Tamil film in the state. The movie is expected to become a blockbuster if the current trend continues.
