Cos he can’t!. His bitter-sweet relationship with two beautiful young ladies, Shruti (Ileana D’cruz) and Jhilmil (Priyanka Chopra) sets in motion a chain of events! Ride a rollercoaster of emotions with Barfi!"

Now, Watch the Brilliant Trailer

With that beautiful plot, watch the trailer to appreciate how positively the characters with disabilities have been portrayed. Ranbir Kapoor proves yet again he is a phenomenal actor and showing tremendous maturity in being able to pull difficult roles such as Rockstar, Rajneeti, and now Barfi.

Spectacular Photography by Ravi Varman

It is difficult to miss noticing the spectacular photography by none other than Ravi Varman (Cinematographer of Dasavatharam, Anniyan, Vettaiyadu Vilayadu, Villu and also Director of Moscowin Cauvery). Ravi Varman is back with a bang after a brief hiatus. Ravi Varman's work in Barfi is the talk of the town in Bollywood.

Nanban girl enters Hindi

Barfi will mark the launch of Ileana in Hindi. She looks gorgeous in the trailer and she plays the role of a narrator. Katrina Kaif was the original choice for this role before it was offered to Ileana. Priyanka Chopra plays a mentally challenged person.

Amelie's Influence

Barfi's shots and music are clearly influenced by French blockbuster hit "Amelie". The visual styles are similar with shots graded to warm tones infused with reds and greens, mostly obtained as a result of DI process. Amelie was ranked as the best shot film of the decade across all languages in the world. Despite the resemblance, Barfi is still sweet in its own right.
