The Boys are back and so is the fun!!!

Chennai 28 II is everything you want it to be. A fun outing that could also be nostalgic to a section of the audience, this is one solid second innings. With outdoor games possibly losing the craze among today's kids with smartphones always at their clutches, this film could well be one reminder to...(more)

An enjoyable second innings

Chennai 28-II will satisfy the audience who adores Venkat Prabhu's brand of comedies as you have plenty of them in it. There has been a lot of work behind comedy portions, loads of them were made in a subtle way which would only grab your attention while watching the second time. (more)

The director has extracted the best from his actors. Shiva and Jai have made a good comeback, while Premji seem to be at his best in his brother's films. Vaibhav as Marudhu is very good while rest of the supporting cast are well-utilised. Technically, Chennai 28 II is the upgraded version of the fir...(more)

Purushothaman Nandagopalan

A perfect success tie-up with the prequel A movie's success is based on the director's intellectual.
