Box Office - Kochadaiiyaan limps into 2nd week

Kochadaiiyaan has entered the 2nd weekend which is usually very critical for determining the fate of any movie. Based on Saturday's advanced bookings and ticket sales, the attendance is not expected to be as strong as one would have expected for Kochadaiiyan. The number of screens have been significantly reduced to 50% compared to that of opening weekend at multiplexes and single screens.

The earlier released horror comedy hit movie "Yaamiruka Bayamey" and Santhanam's "Vallavanuku Pullum Ayudham" have gained back a number of screens and some shows lost to Kochadaiiyaan. Except for a few prime shows, most of Kochadaiyaan's weekend shows are expected to achieve only around 80% occupancy as per the latest word received from theatres
