The casting announcements for Gatta Kusthi 2 just keep coming! After revealing earlier this week that Karunakaran, Mokksha, Zara Zyanna are joining the sequel — alongside returning fan-favourites Kaali Venkat, Karunas, Munishkanth, Lizzie Antony, Gajaraj, and Sreeja Ravi — the makers have now dropped two more exciting additions to the roster.

Ramya Krishnan and Yogi Babu have officially been announced as part of Gatta Kusthi 2's cast. While Ramya Krishnan steps in as Raja Rajeshwari, the makers called her the "IMPACT PLAYER" of the film. Yogi Babu, on the other hand, plays Balbir Singh, with the makers promising "fun unlimited" with him on board.

Karunakaran also a new addition in the Gatta Kusthi world, he plays the role of Partha in the film. 

Both stars join leads Vishnu Vishal and Aishwarya Lekshmi, who return from the beloved 2022 original.

Directed once again by Chella Ayyavu, Gatta Kusthi 2 is jointly produced by Ishari K Ganesh of Vels Film International and Vishnu Vishal Studioz — with Vishnu Vishal also donning the producer's hat alongside his lead role. The technical crew features composer Sean Roldan, cinematographer Bhaskaran PM, editor Barath Vikraman, art director Jayachandran S, and stunt choreographer Supreme Sundar.

For the uninitiated, the 2022 original followed a champion wrestler (Aishwarya Lekshmi) navigating married life with her chauvinistic husband (Vishnu Vishal) while hiding secrets from her past.

Gatta Kusthi 2 is slated to hit theatres on July 3.
