Dream Warrior Pictures confirmed the news with a heartfelt statement, and Suriya himself shared a new poster captioned "Dear all… Thank you for being with us! Karuppu / Veerabhadrudu from today!"

In an emotional note, the production house acknowledged the pain the delay caused fans. "There are some journeys that test not just time, but the heart itself," the statement read, thanking every fan who stood by the film through the uncertainty. "We know this wait was painful," they said, adding that every setback weighed heavily on the team as well. Thursday's chaos had begun with morning shows being cancelled due to pending financial settlements with financiers, leaving thousands of fans stranded outside theatres. Director RJ Balaji had shared a tearful video apologising to audiences, while noon and evening shows were also subsequently cancelled — adding yet another painful chapter to the film's already troubled journey through multiple postponements.
