Actor Silambarasan TR and comedian Santhanam, known for their popular on-screen pairing, may reunite in STR 51, directed by Ashwath Marimuthu. The duo were earlier set to collaborate in Ramkumar Balakrishnan’s film after Parking, but the project did not progress. An official confirmation on Santhanam’s inclusion is still awaited.

Touted to be a fantasy rom-com, STR 51 features Silambarasan as the “God of Love,” with production backed by AGS Entertainment. The film is expected to begin after the actor completes shooting for Arasan, directed by Vetri Maaran. Meanwhile, Arasan, set in the world of Vada Chennai, also stars Vijay Sethupathi and Andrea Jeremiah alongside a strong ensemble cast.
