Jailer 2 starring Rajinikanth in the lead is currently being filmed in the Coimbatore region of Tamil Nadu, and fan-taken photos and videos from the Jailer 2 shooting spot, and otherwise keep cropping up on social media. Earlier this week, a video of Rajinikanth waving to his fans from his open-roof car while arriving at the Jailer 2 filming location, went viral.

Now another video of Rajinikanth making a quick pit stop to curb his spirituality at a local temple in the Anaikatti hills, is being widely shared across social media platforms. A sequel to Rajinikanth's 2023 blockbuster, Jailer 2 sees the Superstar return to his 'Tiger' Muthuvel Pandian mode.

A Sun Pictures production, Jailer 2 is written and directed by Nelson Dhilipkumar, and has Anirudh Ravichander for music. The movie also stars SJ Suryah, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Mirnaa Menon, Shiva Rajkumar, among others. Rajinikanth and Ramya Krishnan have been shooting exactly at Kerala's Attappadi, which is a travelling distance from Tamil Nadu's Coimbatore. Their schedule is expected to wrap next week.
