Parasakthi titled after a 1952 Tamil movie of the same name, is an upcoming Sivakarthikeyan starrer period political drama, written and directed by Sudha Kongara. Marking lead actor Sivakarthikeyan's 40th birthday on February 17, 2025, the makers have unveiled a behind-the-scenes video which gives us a glimpse of Sivakarthikeyan and his director Sudha Kongara in action. 

Taking to X, Sudha Kongara shared the Parasakthi BTS video with the caption, "Happy bday hero !!! @Siva_Kartikeyan You are an absolute delight to work with cos finally it’s the journey and the company that makes one want to continue making cinema !💥 #Parasakthi"

A production venture of Dawn Pictures, Parasakthi has GV Prakash Kumar for music, Ravi K Chandran for cinematography, and Sathish Suriya for edits. The movie also stars Ravi Mohan as the villain, Atharvaa, Sreeleela, Dev Ramnath, among others.

Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies is distributing Parasakthi in theaters.
