Actor Dhanush is currently the director behind two Tamil movies, Nilavuku En mel Ennadi Kobam which releases February 21, 2025, and Idly Kadai, where he also plays the lead. Dhanush is also part of Bollywood movie Tere Ishk Mein, D55 (tentatitve title) directed by Amaran director Rajkumar Periasamy, and director Vetrimaaran's 9th film with the RS Infotainment production banner. 

Amidst all this, Dhanush is doing a film with director H Vinoth who is currently working on actor Vijay's last film, Jana Nayagan. The Dhanush-H Vinoth combo has been teased since 2022, and their movie was even buzzed to be a heist thriller with Dhanush playing a con-man. 

Seven Screen Studios was said to be producing the Dhanush, H Vinoth film but no official announcements surfaced for over 3 years. Latest we hear, this Dhanush, H Vinoth film is all set to begin shooting by August, 2025.
