[Updated: July 16, 2024] Actor Dhanush's self-directed 50th film Raayan is set for a theatrical release on July 26, 2024. The movie touted to be a gangster action, revolves around the North Chennai-based titular character, who on a quest to avenge the death of his family, encounters the dark underbelly of North Chennai. Raayan's new trailer announcement poster comes with the tagline 'Blood is thicker than everything'. 

Sun Pictures has officially announced Raayan trailer release date as July 16, 2024 (Tuesday). Raayan trailer video will be unveiled on Sun TV's YouTube channel at 6 PM. 

The production banner has also confirmed that Raayan audio launch will be telecast on Sun TV on July 21, 2024 (Sunday) at 3 PM.

Raayan is Sun Pictures' first production to release with an A rating. The movie also stars SJ Suryah, Selvaraghavan, Prakash Raj, Sundeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, Aparna Balamurali, Dushara Vijayan, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar among others.

Raayan's technical crew includes OM Prakash for cinematography, AR Rahman for music, and Prasanna GK for edits. Raayan's USA release is by Prime Media, and the film comes with a runtime of 2 hours 25 minutes and 12 seconds i.e. 145.12 minutes.
