Rajinikanth who is currently busy with Coolie produced by Sun Pictures, seemingly is reuniting with the production house one more time for a movie, that will go on floors by this 2024 year end. Bollywood aka the Hindi film industry, is abuzz with the update that Sun Pictures is likely to produce an Atlee directed movie that will star Salman Khan in the lead. 

Salman Khan and Atlee plan on beginning their movie, once Khan completes his ongoing project Sikandar, and the duo are keen on bringing Rajinikanth onboard their project. Reports are rife that Rajinikanth will meet Atlee and Salman Khan in July, 2024, and Sun Pictures is also in the picture in the role of a production banner. 

If this team up materializes, then the Atlee-Salman Khan movie will become Rajinikanth's 172nd movie, or as the fans like to term it - Thalaivar 172.
