Thug Life starring Kamal Haasan in the lead is an upcoming Mani Ratnam directorial, which also stars actor Silambarasan TR in an important role. The makers of Thug Life movie have now announced that the first look of Silambarasan TR will be unveiled on May 8, 2024 [Friday] at 10: 00 AM.

Though not explicitly stated, the poster released indicates that there's a 'new thug' in town, who will be unveiled on said date. Silamabarasan TR is the only major star from Thug Life's ensemble cast who has not had a dedicated poster release yet.

Added to this, a new video with the words 'Sigma Thug Rules', the acronym of which makes STR i.e. Silambarasan TR was unveiled today. This video revealed the first look release time.
