Maaveeran is an upcoming Sivakarthikeyan starrer that is written and directed by the multiple National award winning Madonne Ashwin. The movie has entered the post production stage and recently the lead actor Sivakarthikeyan had started dubbing for the film. 

The team had recently announced that the film will be having its theatrical release on July 14. Maaveeran is also set to release in Telugu as Mahaveerudu. Also starring Aditi Shankar, Jailer actor Sunil, Yogi Babu, Mysskin and Saritha among others, Maaveeran is touted to be an action entertainer.
