Actor Dhanush will next be seen in an Arun Matheswaran directorial titled Captain Miller, and the period action drama has now been officially confirmed to release during a 'holiday' in October, 2023. Captain Miller is a production venture of Sathya Jyothi Films and the banner's head producer recently confirmed the release plans at a public event.

It is worth mentioning here that actor Vijay's upcoming movie Leo, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj is also scheduled to release before the Dusshera weekend on October 19, 2023 [Thursday]. If Captain Miller also releases around the same time, then Dhanush, Vijay are headed for a box-office clash after a long gap.

The last time Dhanush, Vijay clashed at the box-office was in 2011 when Aadukalam and Kaavalan released on the same Pongal holidate (January 14).
