Hollywood filmmaker James Cameron's novel motion-capture movie Avatar took the world by storm in 2009. Earlier this year, Avatar: The Way of Water aka Avatar 2 had its first teaser trailer release and now the sci-fi sequel is back in limelight with a full fledged trailer. 

Avatar: The Way of Water is set 10 years after the events of its prequel and is centered around the Sully family - Jake, Neytiri, and their kids. The trouble that follows them and the lengths they go to keep each other safe, the battles they fight to stay alive, and the tragedies they endure is showcased in Avatar 2. 

The movie starring Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang and Kate Winslet among others releases in theaters on December 16, 2022 [In India the film will also be releasing in dubbed versions of Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam]. Avatar: The Way of Water will be followed by Avatar 3 in 2026 and Avatar 4 in 2028.
