In an interesting turn of events, a contestant from the Bigg Boss Tamil 6 show has finally stood upto Asal Kolar, who has been facing constant backlash from those watching the show. Tik Tok fame Dhanalakshmi, who previously came under fire for her fight with another house contestant GP Muthu, is the one who has called out Asal Kolar finally. 

It all starts when Dhanlakshmi, Asal Kolar and a couple of other contestants are huddled around the kitchen and Asal says to the girl, "You speak as though you have taken ownership of this kitchen". To this Dhanalakshmi says, "What if so?". Asal Kolar makes a face at this point and passes an insulting remark saying, "This much (attitude) even when there is (you have) nothing." Dhanalakshmi, who comes from humble beginnings is clearly shocked for a split second before she brushes it off quickly.

This then spirals into a fight between Dhanalakshmi and Asal Kolar but the former never brings up Asal's passing insult. Instead she calls out his disrespectful ways of addressing and speaking to her. Even here, Asal Kolar asks her, "Who are you?" but an undeterred Dhanalakshmi fires back, "Who are you?" 

A few other male contestants especially Azeem try to shut only Dhanalakshmi up, and remove her from the situation. When contestant Vikraman spots a teary-eyed Dhanalakshmi and asks what Asal Kolar spoke, Azeem and GP Muthu intervene with uncalled-for anger and misogyny respectively. Vikraman even tries to point to GP Muthu that his thoughts that women shouldn't be loud or angry is regressive, and that there is nothing wrong in asking a crying-lady what her situation is.  

While the public demand for a while now has been that Kamal Haasan address Asal Kolar's antics inside the house, especially towards female contestants, there had also been frustration that none of the contestants themselves are calling out Asal's behaviour. With Dhanlakshmi's outburst, and Vikraman - the generally disliked contestant inside the house being the only one to exhibit sensible action, it would be interesting to see how Kamal Haasan takes this forward this weekend.
