Tamil cinema's leading music composers Ilayaraaja and A.R. Rahman broke the internet last night after a picture of them together was shared online. Ilayaraaja had paid a visit to Rahman's Firdaus studio at Dubai and the latter's social media handle flaunted a picture from this visit with the caption,

Such a pleasure welcoming the Maestro @ilaiyaraaja to our Firdaus Studio... Hope he composes something amazing for our @FirdausOrch to play in the future! pic.twitter.com/oam4TJPL63

Ilayaraaja responded to this post this afternoon by accepting this request and stating that he will begin composing soon for Firdaus orchestra.

It is worth mentioning here that Firdaus is an all female orchestra in the UAE and the studio under the same name, with a recording studio, a performance venue and a private cinema was opened as a collaboration between A.R. Rahman and Dubai's Expo 2020.
