Valimai, actor Ajith's upcoming movie is scheduled to release on February 24, 2022 (Thursday) and fans were excited about the first day first show (FDFS) beginning as early as 1 AM in the morning. A theater in Madipakkam, Chennai had even started selling advance tickets for the same but have now announced that these shows have been cancelled. Valimai FDFS will begin at 4: 30 AM instead.

Directed by H. Vinoth and produced by Boney Kapoor, Zee Studios, Valimai is touted to be an action thriller and also stars Karthikeya, Huma Qureshi, among others. The film has Yuvan Shankar Raja for music and will be opening to 100% occupancy that have returned to movie theaters in Tamil Nadu today.
