After speculations of Shruthi Haasan or Vijay Sethupathi hosting the Bigg Boss Tamil 5 week-end show, it has now been revealed that yesteryear actress Ramya Krishnan will be stepping in for Kamal Haasan, while he is recuperating from COVID-19. Apparently Vijay TV reached out to the actress based on her previous experience of guest-hosting Bigg Boss Telugu and ensured to get her on-board.

Bigg Boss Tamil 5 is currently running on 50+ days and eliminated contestant Abhishek Raja, choreographer Amir and anchor-actor Sanjeev have so far entered the house as wild card entrants.
