With movie theaters re-opening in Tamil Nadu after six whole months, a ton of movies are gearing up for a theatrical release soon. And with Vinayagar Chaturthi falling on September 10, 2021, the following Tamil movies have lined-up for the major holiday release.

1. Thalaivii - September 10, 2021
2. Laabam (Vijay Sethupathi, Shruthi Haasan)
3. Sivakumarin Sabadham (Hiphop Tamizha Aadhi)
4. Kodiyil Oruvan (Vijay Antony)

Among these, Thalaivii, starring Kangana Ranaut and Arvind Swami has confirmed its official release date to be September 10, 2021.
