20th Century Studios has released a brand new trailer for Shawn Levy’s upcoming action-comedy Free Guy, starring Ryan Reynolds in the lead. Originally scheduled for a July release in 2020, the film is now all set to hit the theaters on August 13, 2021 in the US. India release date for the movie has not been announced yet.

Also starring Jodie Comer, Lil Rel Howery, Joe Keery, Taika Waititi and Utkarsh Ambudkar in pivotal roles, Free Guy follows the story of a lonely bank teller who discovers he is actually a background character in an open-world video game called Free City.

How Ryan's character works to prevent the game from shutting down is what forms the rest of the story.
