Bollywood actor Sushanth Singh Rajput's unfortunate demise opened up a can of worms and even after a year, these cans remain open with bottomless pits. While the general sentiment remains completely against Hindi movies and Bollywood stars, Rajput's fans on the other hand are found even today seeking 'justice' for his death.
While Sushanth's death remains a sensitive topic, a Hindi movie titled Nyay the Justice which purportedly caricatures Sushant's name, likeness and his unofficial story created ruckus among his fans and family members.
Sushant's father Krishna Kishore Singh sought an injunction against Nyay and all films made on the actor's life but the Delhi High Court on Thursday refused to stay the release of the movie.
Directed by Dilip Gulati and produced by Sarla A. Saraogi and Rahul Sharma, Nyay The Justice stars Zuber K. Khan and Shreya Shukla (as Rhea Chakroborthy) in the lead. The film was scheduled to release on June 11.
