Thaen, the Tamil drama film written and directed by Ganesh Vinayak received unanimous positive reviews and was appreciated throughout during its theatrical release. 

The film was initially planned to be distributed in theatres by Trident Arts, later Sakthi Film Factory ensured a wide release for the film in theatres on March 19, 2021. 

The film featured Tharun and Abarnathi playing the lead, who received numerous awards for their performance in various film festivals. 

Now the recent news is that SonyLiv, has bagged the Indian streaming rights for the film and will be available this June. To add on, the film is already available to overseas via Tentkotta.
