Back in September, it was revealed that Shah Rukh Khan (SRK)'s movie with Tamil director Atlee will be an action-entertainer, and that SRK will play dual roles of a top investigating officer and a most-wanted criminal. And until last month, it was suggested that shooting will begin in August, 2021, once Shahrukh completes Pathan.

However SRK had to halt filming for Pathan after a crew-member tested COVID-19 positive. The Siddharth Anand directorial has not resumed since and film's leading lady Deepika Padukone was also recently in the news for testing positive for the Coronavirus (She has not officially confirmed this).

Meanwhile fresh reports have started doing rounds in Bollywood circles that Shah Rukh Khan might reunite with his Devdas director Sanjay Leela Bhansali (SLB). The movie SRK and SLB are reuniting is said to be a love story titled Izhaar, which is based on the real-life incident of an Indian guy who cycles all the way to Norway for his love. 

With lockdown being imposed in several parts of India, it might be a while before Pathan resumes. It also remains to be seen if SRK will begin Atlee's movie before he moves on to any other new project.
