According to reports published exclusively on Pinkvilla, actor Vijay, Telugu producer Dil Raju of Sri Venkateshwara Creations and director of Kannada hit franchise films KGF and KGF 2 recently came together for a film discussion. The movie is expected to be Vijay's 67th or 68th film after Nelson Dhilipkumar-Sun Pictures movie and Thalapathy 66.

It has been said that Prashanth Neel has been asked to develop a script post this meeting and if all goes well, it will be made into a movie in 2022. Initial plans for the movie is for it to be a mega budget pan-South Indian film but depending on how the script develops, it might come in Hindi as well.
