Lokesh Kanagaraj directed Maanagaram is being remade in Hindi with Santhosh Sivan at the helm and the movie titled Mumbaikar has Vijay Sethupathi reprising Munishkanth's role from the original. A first glimpse of Vijay Sethupathi's character from the movie was revealed today and the same can be seen here:

Mumbaikar has has Vikrant Massey playing lead and also has Ranvir Shorey, Tanya Maniktala, Sanjay Mishra, Sachin Khedekar playing pivotal roles. The film marks Vijay Sethupathi's debut in Bollywood and is produced by Shibu Thameens.
