Director Gautham Menon has revealed in a recent interaction that he had a movie planned for his Yennai Arindhal hero Ajith Kumar, where Ajith would play a Srilankan refugee. Gautham said that the movie was to be titled Surangini and was a love story between Sura and Ragini.

However Ajith was to play an underworld don, with an empire in South India in the movie. While we may not know if Surangini will ever get made, the revelation sure has gotten a lot of fans curious and excited.
